Founded in 1925, The Junior League of Houston, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Houston Food Bank

The Junior League of Houston volunteers help The Houston Food Bank distribute approximately 46 million pounds of food annually.

JLH 85th Anniversary

In 1925, The Junior League of Houston, Inc. was founded by 12 visionary women with the common goal of bettering the Houston community. Eighty-five years later, the League has grown to a corps of 5,000 women who will donate more than $2 million in direct financial support and volunteer time to the community, this year.
