Annual Fund
The Annual Fund offers a direct opportunity for businesses, patrons, individuals and members to support the mission of the Junior League of Houston. This year's Annual Fund appeal, themed Gracious Giving, will be mailed in the fall.

Community Endowment
In 1999 the Junior League created the Community Endowment. In 2005 a separate organization, the Junior League of Houston Foundation, was created. Community Endowment assets were transferred to the Foundation, and the Foundation's board is charged with overseeing the management, investment, and distributon of funds. The purpose of this Community Endowment is to sustain, expand and initiate League-designated community programs in perpetuity.

Memorials/Honorarium
Donors may honor special friends and loved ones through any of the League's fundraisers. The League also has a special Texas Children's Hospital Memorial Fund which benefits economically disadvantaged patients' medical needs.
Planned Giving
In 2006, the League established the Junior League Heritage Circle, a Planned Giving society to recognize donors who make or intend to make planned gifts to the League. Planned Giving vehicles may offer tax incentives that benefit donors, their estates, and the League. Click here for more information about Planned Giving.
Advertising
A variety of advertising opportunities are available in the League's Houston News magazine (distributed to approximately 10,000 members and supporters) and Charity Ball Program (distributed to more than 1,000 attendees).

Charity Ball
In its 63rd year, the Junior League Charity Ball is a celebration of the largest annual fundraising effort for the League's community outreach program. This year's celebration, themed Casio Royale, will take place on Feb. 3, 4 and 5, 2011, at the Junior League building. Individuals, organizations and corporations may purchase advertisements in the Charity Ball Program, which is distributed to more than 1,000 attendees and helps cover the costs of the event. Underwriting dollars go directly to support the League's community efforts.
Publications
The Junior League of Houston offers four award-winning cookbooks and an award-winning children's book for purchase, which support the League's efforts. Peace Meals: A Book of Recipes for Cooking and Connecting, which was released in Sept. 2008, is the organization's first cookbook in over 10 years and was a 2009 Tabasco award-winning publication.

In 2005 and 2006, the Junior League established the JLH Community Partners program to encourage mutually beneficial and customized partnerships between the League and major donors. Each year, the League seeks out a limited number of Community Partners for a one year partnership.
