Don't miss this annual event! Learn about how non-profit agencies from across the Houston area are addressing some of the most pressing issues affecting children. This year's luncheon will feature a speaker's panel addressing mental health and the juvenile justice system. The speaker's panel will include:
- The Honorable Patricia R. Lykos, Harris County District Attorney
- Bill Moore, Chief of the Juvenile Division
The luncheon will also honor Hattie Robinson White with the Community Collaborations Council’s Everyday Hero Award. Ms. White is the founder and Executive Director of His Place Child Care Center, Inc. At His Place, students are prepared for successful entry into kindergarten by the development of their school readiness and social skills. She is one of 13 charter members of Bright Beginnings, a program founded in 2002 by the of Greater Houston and funded by ExxonMobil dedicated to improving child care through staff development, training, curriculum enhancement, and parental involvement.
