In 1925, The Junior League of Houston, Inc. founded a well-baby clinic to help keep the children of Houston healthy. Today, that project has grown into the Junior League Children's Health Care Clinic of the world-renowned Texas Children's Hospital.
Today, the League's community outreach efforts focus on a variety of critical issues including basic needs, abuse of women and children, healthcare, education and cultural enrichment.
The League offers the greater Houston community a unique combination of trained volunteers and financial support. This year the League will contribute approximately $2 million in volunteer time and direct financial support to 34 community projects.
